I took in my grandmother's rocker and I supplied the material. The job they did on refinishing the gooseneck arms, replacing the springs and re-upholstering the chair was amazing! The attention to detail down to keeping the striped pattern on the buttons was perfect. They are not speedy which was fine for me. When I gave them a date they met deadline easily. The price was very reasonable and to the penny on the quote. I am taking in a friend's 100+ year old table this week.

After my mother passed, I saved two cherished antiques among others while cleaning out her home. One, a settee that had been in the entryway of my grandparents first big house. The other is a rocking chair that belonged to my Great Great Grandmother and has rocked at least four generations of my family to sleep as babes. In 1972, Fred Saah came to the US with a dream of using his skills as a craftsman and opening a family furniture repair business. Today, his sons and grandchildren carry on that tradition at C & S Refinishing & Upholstery.
